Henley Hall is holding an open weekend on Saturday 19 & Sunday 20 November for couples wishing to consider Henley Hall as their wedding venue & couples wishing to tie the know in 2017 will even have the chance to get the venue for free!!
Open to the public for the first time, Henley Hall is one of the most unique wedding venues in the Midlands. The grade II listed country house lies in the beautiful South Shropshire countryside just outside Ludlow. Surrounded by spectacular estate land and formal gardens, Henley is approached down an impressive tree lined avenue. The river Ledwyche runs through the tranquil gardens, the river being crossed by a very fine double arched stone bridge.
The garden is on two levels linked by particularly grand stone steps. The grounds provide ample space for an outside wedding and marquee and lend themselves particularly well to photographs. For more intimate parties the Painted Room, painted by Florentine artists in 1850 and featuring cameo portraits of Henry VIII and his wife, along with other British Monarchy, provides a setting for a ceremony for up to 60 people. The wedding breakfast can then be held in the adjacent Henley Room.
