One of our latest creations, Dorothy is a unique lace edge veil with a twist.  The curved edge of the veil is finished with a beautiful, scalloped lace whilst the middle of the veil is embellished with two trailing strands of lace which have been appliquéd onto the tulle, forming perfect symmetry down the centre of the veil. 

This single tier veil is carefully pleated onto the comb to ensure that the lace trails fall perfectly down the back of the veil, framing any detail on the back of your bridal gown.

This veil works wonderfully with both plainer dresses and gowns with lace detailing, as the soft, ivory lace complements any lace on your dress without being too heavy.

• Sample veil shown is Waltz length (150cm) & standard width (150cm) at its widest point
• The sample veil pictured is handmade with ivory tulle edged in ivory corded lace and ivory lace detailing
• Hand sewn onto a strong, plastic comb wrapped in ivory ribbon, 11cm wide
• Available in a range of lengths and tulle colours 

Handmade in our boutique in Shropshire, every veil is designed and crafted with love and care especially for you. This means that delivery will usually be 1 month from your order date, so please do let us know if you need your veil sooner than this. 

Please note that because every veil is made specifically for our brides they are not returnable.

Dorothy is named after Dorothy Hodgkin, a British chemist who developed protein crystallography which earned her the Nobel prize for Chemistry in 1964.
