As some of you may have noticed as you walked by, our little boutique has had quite a big revamp over the last few months. As much as we love our little Dickensian shop, it had started to look a little tired and was in need of some TLC. This work had been planned for this Summer and would have meant having to close the shop for a couple of weeks while the work was completed, but as lockdown was announced, our wonderful landlord suggested that we go ahead with the work straight away.
So the services of Evans & Evans Construction were called in and I spent the first couple of days of lockdown, stripping out the boutique in preparation for the work. The work was quite drastic and there were a couple of times that I walked past the boutique and was genuinely surprised at how much work was being done, but I am blown away with finished result and I have been so excited to start welcoming our brides back to our beautiful little boutique!
I play a small cameo in the whole process as I fitted the new door furniture and painted the skirting boards, but otherwise, all the work was completed by skilled professionals!
Here is the revamp in pictures for those who want to see the detail….
So a huge thank you goes out to:
Evans & Evans Construction for the incredible work and attention to detail they have put into our boutique both inside and out!
Andy Field Signs for the signwriting
Topi Carpets in Telford for being so helpful and fitting the new carper so beautifully.
