“Visiting My Little Wedding Shop was the best decision I made during our wedding planning. I am so glad I decided to go for a bespoke dress, my dress was EXACTLY what I wanted down to the very last detail. I didn't want a traditional wedding dress, I wanted something a bit special and a bit more me, but I still wanted to look like a bride.
On my first visit Jenny sat with a pad and doodled as I talked through my ideas making suggestions for how get it exactly how I wanted it and answering the many, many questions I had. They were so knowledgeable about everything - fabric types, different styles, body shapes, cut and necklines...so much stuff I hadn't even thought of! The initial sketch that she did that day was pretty much what the final dress looked like but with a few tweaks along the way.
I was amazed how soon after taking my initial measurements that there was a dress ready for me to try on! It was so exciting seeing it take form. Every fitting that I had was a pleasure, the girls were wonderful at making me feel welcome and making me feel special! I had so many fittings along the way to make sure that it still fit. I lost a lot of weight during the months that the dress was being made so it had to be altered and taken in many times but they happily accommodated it and it fit like a glove on the day!
When I walked down the aisle I felt like a Disney princess! Everyone commented on how amazing my dress was and everyone said how perfect it was for me, that it was exactly what they imagined I'd wear. I know every bride thinks that their dress is the best wedding dress ever...but mine totally is! It's just amazing. Since the wedding I have had so many messages about it and comments on fb/Instagram pictures asking where I got it.
I can't recommend My Little Wedding Shop enough. If you are looking for the perfect dress then give them a visit. Every bride needs to feel like a Disney princess on their wedding day. Thank you so, so much to Jenny and George.”
